This page will be the life and trials of Logan as she lives with Hepatitis C. Logan contracted Hepatitis C from me her mother during childbirth. She has since done treatment twice and did both times for a full year. She did the first treatment in a clinical study and had it rough throughout treatment just as we all do but was a trooper. She would still get her shots on Friday afternoons when she got home from school and then by Monday morning she would be off to school most of the time. She then had the virus levels come back up and had to do treatment again. We were devastated when it came back but we also tried to stay positive. All of us around her stay strong for her and that made her stronger just seeing how strong we were. Anyway we tackled the treatment for another year and she came through it once again like a trooper. Again getting her shots on Friday nite and on Monday off to school she went. What a scout. I was so very proud of her and so was everyone else around her. Logan is a very loving child. She would do anything for anyone. And now she has the desire to do these posts and have other children get on that have Hepatitis C so they can share their stories. I will let the next post be put on her page be put on by her. So I really hope you will allow your children to communicate this way and be support for one another. Have a great day.

Hepatitis C Do Not Be Affraid
Do not let Hepatitis C get you down! You need to get a good support system around you! You need your family and friends. You need to also reach out to a local suport group and if there isn't one in your area start one. That is what I did 6 years ago and we started with just two people but once the word got out we grew like crazy.
